The site of the Australasian Evaluation Society Inc contains regular news bulletins supplied electronically, information on events, conferences and a list of consultants. MandE News: "A news service focusing on developments in monitoring and evaluation methods relevant to development projects and programmes with social objectives". This site contains good links to other international sites concerned with evaluation. The LearningForSustainability website: is a resource for government, natural resource management and development agency staff, NGOs and other community leaders working to support multi-stakeholder learning processes to guide sustainable development activities. This guide to on-line resources highlights a number of topic areas that are relevant to social learning. These include topics such as capacity building, networking, dialogue and evaluation. A short introduction to each section outlines the nature of the resource links provided, and provides pointers to other topic areas which are closely related in use. A separate section links to key manuals and guides on the Internet for facilitating participation and engagement. The Rural Industry Research and Development Corporation funds research into innovation in rural and related sectors and examines strategic issues concerning rural and regional Australia. RIRDC has an extensive publication list and details are available on its website. The Centre for Rural and Regional Innovation was set up to advance extension education in Australia and to improve the knowledge and skills of the people who are part of the rural sector. The site contains useful links to other extension institutions and relevant bodies. The Centre for Research and Learning in Regional Australia conducts research into learning in rural and regional communities throughout Australia. Numerous reports and paper produced from the Centre are referred to at the site. This site covers the Journal of Agricultural Education and Extension which publishes articles on education and extension with a concentration on relationships with other relevant institutions in the rural sector.
